Apple Picking

The apples here are mostly harvested in  summer and autumn.

The summer apples known as Tsugaru ("Aori" - green apples), originally from Japan, are  usually harvested in July and August. Its perfect blend of sweetness with a hint of sourness is something you don't want to miss.

The Hongro Apples are harvested in September, and are usually given as gifts during the "Chuseok" (추석) or Thanksgiving Holiday which is celebrated on late September or early October (it based on the Korean lunar calendar).

In late October until early November, the Fuji Apples (winter apples) which originate from Japan, are harvested. The sweetness, crispiness, juiciness, and long storage period (until June or July of the following year) make these apples in demand.
